Core mission and values
MissionThe UW Christian Faculty/Staff Fellowship is dedicated to encouraging and equipping Christian faculty and staff at the UW-Madison to be a redeeming influence among the people, ideas, and structures of the university.
Vision
The vision of the UW Christian Faculty/Staff Fellowship is that Christian faculty and staff at UW-Madison would:
Establish witnessing communities of Christian faculty and staff that reflect the diversity of the body of Christ on the campus
Follow God's call in spiritual formation and vocational discipleship
Pursue excellence in life, research, teaching, mentoring, and service, for the glory of God
Practice their disciplines from a profoundly Christian viewpoint
Core Values
The UW Christian Faculty/Staff Fellowship is dedicated to fostering the following core values among faculty and staff at the UW-Madison:
Spiritual Formation: We seek to cultivate intimacy with God and growth in Christ-like character, expressed in faith, love and dependence on God.
Community: We seek to build local communities of Christian faculty and staff that “encourage one another to love and good deeds” through interpersonal relationships, and corporate worship and interaction.
Outreach and Service: We seek to encourage loving proclamation of the Good News of new life in Christ, and loving service that enriches the campus.
Integration: We seek to foster the integration of Christian faith, scholarship, and practice.
